MAXINE M. BOSSERMAN STAUNTON, VA Maxine (Miller) Bosserman, 87, widow of Cliftmont Albert Bosserman, died Monday, January 6, 2014, in Augusta Health. She was born March 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Marvin C. and Madeline Shue Miller and step-daughter of the late Helen Fix Miller. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Bosserman was employed by Bessie Weller Elementary School as cafeteria manager. She was an active member of Mint Spring United Methodist Church where she loved cooking, fellowship, and helping members in need. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Linda B. and David Sensabaugh, Jr.; a brother, Owen; and a sister, Nancy M. Barr. Family members include a daughter and son-in-law, Beverly B. and John McCracken of Greensboro, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Marvin Sensabaugh, Renee Ross, Rev. Jonathan McCracken, and Monnie Lunsford; and nine great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2014, in the Mint Spring United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Thornrose Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Phil Spalding, Daniel Barr, Ronnie Earhart, Kevin Jarvis, Glenn Shickel, Jason Spalding, Brandon Spalding, and Doug Bosserman.
