William Robert Patterson

WILLIAM R. PATTERSON STAUNTON – William Robert Patterson, 75, of 2594 Lee Jackson Highway, died at 8:30 a.m. on Memorial Day at his residence. He was born July 12, 1940 in Augusta County, son of the late Catherine (Moore) Patterson. Bill was the owner/operator of Bill’s Auto & Truck Sales.  Survivors include his brother, Jesse Patterson of Staunton; half-brother George Patterson; a half-sister, Mary Frances Davis; niece, Wendi Harris; great nieces, Ashley, Brittney and Catina Harris; great nephews, Jamie, Josh and Jeremey Harris; and his step-children, Carol Sue Kirk, Barbara Thomas, Bobby Sarver, Darrell Sarver, and Douglas Sarver. He was preceded in death by a niece, Brenda Patterson and a step-son, Jamie Sarver. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Augusta Memorial Park.
