Ms. Zoe Andrus Maynard, 91 years old, of Harrisonburg, VA , went to her heavenly home peacefully on December 5th, 20222 with the comfort of her daughter at her side, Melanie Maynard, in Charleston, SC.
She is preceded by beloved husband, Kenneth Clyde Maynard, dear son, Paul Maynard, parents, Pauline Moubray Andrus and George Andrus, and sister, Georgia Andrus.
She is survived by loved ones who called her Mawmom which includes a grandson and wife, Brad and Whitney Forinash; a granddaughter and husband, Shelby and Joe Runkles; and her great-grandchildren, Mason and Marleigh F., Annabelle and Asher R. Other close relatives left behind include Josie Maynard, Linda Slone and Christine Brennan.
Zoe was a proud Nurse, Duke Basketball fanatic, an avid shopper and talker, lover of fresh flowers and anything sweet. She was a faithful woman who loved The Lord, her family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Health and Rehabilitation Care Center of Hanahan, SC where she received compassionate care and was loved by all.
A graveside service was held at Oaklawn Mausoleum and Memory Gardens of Staunton, VA on Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 at 11am.
